Travelodge by Wyndham Alachua

We stayed here for UF family weekend because it was relatively close (15 min) and the only place that was not price gouging during the busy weekend. It was mainly for sleep and is a simple but clean and comfortable place off the highway. The lobby is a bit odd and messy but for the money it is safe and convenient.

property was clean, rooms look to be in process of remodeling as needed. air conditioner was great.

My family and I were able to book a room on the way to Florida, the same night. I see a lot of bad reviews about this place, but for the price, you definitely get what you pay for. It’s not bad at all. It’s obviously not meant to be the Four Seasons, it was perfect for what we needed.

Room was very nice and clean mine appeared to be newly renovated.
